Lynch still manages to baffle the mind even when, for the most part, he strips back the surrealist elements and presents a multi-character criss-coss deconstruction of Hollywood. It's hilarious, tense and incredibly well made. It's quite possibly the best starting place for those looking to get into Lynch.
